Advertiser terms

Last updated: 22 October 2026

These terms apply when a business ("you") books advertising in Hello London from Bolakale Adewale, trading as Hello London ("we", "us"). They're a business-to-business agreement. By creating an advertiser account or booking a campaign, you confirm you're acting for a business and agree to them. Questions: [email protected].

1. Your account

Give accurate business details and keep your login safe. We verify new advertiser accounts before any campaign can go live, and we may ask for more information or refuse an account.

2. What you're booking

You book spaces in the game, such as billboards, bus shelters, bus sides, station screens and sponsored events, for the dates you choose. Prices are shown when you book. Audience and view figures shown before booking are estimates based on recent traffic; we don't guarantee a number of views or clicks. After a campaign we'll show you the views and clicks recorded.

3. Your adverts

You're responsible for your adverts and must have all the rights needed to use their content, including trade marks, images and music. Every advert must be legal, decent, honest and truthful, and follow the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising (the CAP Code). We don't accept adverts for:

A person reviews every advert before it goes live. We may refuse, ask you to change, or remove any advert that breaks these terms, the law or the CAP Code, or that players report and we find harmful.

4. Price, payment and VAT

You pay in advance by card through Stripe, or by invoice where we've agreed it in writing. Prices are in pounds. VAT is added at the standard UK rate only if we're registered for VAT; if so, it's shown on your booking and invoice.

5. Cancellations and refunds

6. Data

Adverts are placed by location in the game, not by tracking players, and we don't share players' personal data with advertisers. We use your account details to run your account, campaigns and payments, as described in our privacy notice.

7. Liability

You'll cover our reasonable losses and costs if a claim is made against us because your advert breaks the law or someone else's rights. Our total liability to you for any campaign is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we're not liable for indirect losses or loss of profit, revenue or business. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't legally be limited.

8. General

We may update these terms; changes don't affect campaigns already booked. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
